Magimoobile Mighty Magiswords is a companion app to the popular Cartoon Network animated series. While there are game-like elements to the experience, it's an app that's predicated more on the affection for the series than towards the gameplay itself. While those looking for a challenging or skill driven experience won't find it here, fans of the show will find plenty to dig through and pore over.

Fans of the series will recognize the interface of the app immediately. The developers have done a fantastic job of perfectly recreating the devices used by the characters on Mighty Magiswords, and their commitment to the mythology and inner workings of the series go well beyond a commitment to the basic user interface. What they've developed here is essentially a working approximation of the app used on the show. While there might not seem like there's a lot to do here with a surface glance, a deeper dig into the user interface will reveal a dedicated commitment towards stuffing as much fan service and as many Easter eggs as possible into the app.

The main goal here is to collect as many might magiswords as you possibly can, and the development team has been meticulous in making sure that they've stuffed the interface with as many magiswords as possible. There's a number of different ways to unlock new swords. Quests serve as the most reliable way to fill out your collection, and the progression does a great job of teaching you what the app has to offer through the allocation of rewards. A dedicated friends list allows you to read messages from the various characters on the show and collect rewards for doing so. Then there's a simple but engaging mini game that asks you to chop down a broccoli stalk. But the coolest feature that allows you to collect swords is the Collect function. Every time users watch the show, all they have to do is click on the "Collect" button. The speaker will listen in on the episode, and when it recognizes which episode it is, the user will automatically have a magisword featured on that episode added to their collection.

Then there are the mini episodes that appear throughout the app. While these don't have the same depth or production levels viewers would find in a traditional television episode of the series, there's one element here that couldn't be replicated on the actual show. These episodes take a choose your own adventure format, and viewers can determine what paths the stories take.

The heart of the experience is the magisword collection, and the developers have packed a wealth of information on each sword into the archive. Duplicates don't have to go to waste either. Whenever you collect a sword you already have, it will level up your existing copy.
